Envy24 windows 7 problem

Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I've read all over on the internet but none of the solutions help me. The mic works fine in 7 and stereo mix used to work in windowsxp and vista but now in windows 7 on the same machine Acer notebook there is no stereo mix.

I go into the sound control panel then right click and say Show disabled devices Show disconnected devices and all that shows up is the monitor microphone, the microphone sound card jack and line-in. I need Stereo Mix to work in Windows 7. I've written for help on the microsoft answers board twice now and they ignored me, I've asked on yahoo answers, they ignored me.
