Students must be 16 years of age or older, not enrolled in high school, have educational needs below the level equivalent of high school completion ages must have a release form from their school districts. Eligibility Over 21 years of age — Individuals who have not earned a high school diploma or equivalency credential can take classes that will prepare them to take the GED General Education Development exam.
Individuals 16 years of age or older may earn a certificate of educational competence with a satisfactory score on the General Educational Development test.
